MindTap ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile game developed by Umut Derebek. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use MindTap.
1. Information We Collect
a) Anonymous Authentication
We use Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous account when you first open the app. This generates a random unique identifier (User ID) to distinguish your account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
b) Game Data
We store gameplay data — including high scores, level progress, and leaderboard rankings — in Firebase Firestore. This data is linked only to your anonymous User ID.
c) Advertising
We use Google AdMob to serve ads within the app. AdMob may automatically collect:
- • Device advertising identifier (IDFA / GAID)
- • Device type and OS version
- • General location (country/region level, derived from IP)
- • Ad interaction data

d) Local Notifications
The app may schedule local notifications (e.g., daily game reminders). These are processed entirely on your device. No notification data, push tokens, or related information is collected or transmitted to any server.

4. Data Retention
- • Game data is retained as long as your anonymous account exists.
- • Advertising data is managed by Google AdMob according to their retention policies.
- • You may request deletion of all your data by contacting us at the email below.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures provided by Firebase and Google Cloud to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Children's Privacy
MindTap is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us.
